Ranch dressing and I have a long and storied history. In my pre-low FODMAP days, I would put ranch on anything from salads to pizza..
Post low FODMAP, that habit has all but disappeared due to the lack of options that are safe for me to consume.
One of the biggest pain points for going low FODMAP for me (and for most) was the elimination of so many sauces, dressings and condiments. While these were all tasty, they were doing tons of damage to my gut. Furthermore, so many of these delicious 'add-ons' are full of ingredients that are not good for anyone- hidden sugar, preservatives and sketchy chemicals galore!
Now that I am symptom-free and reaping the benefits of low FODMAP living, ranch dressing has been rarely missed…until now. Recently, I discovered Live Free Foods’s new low FODMAP Ranch Dressing. I can firmly say it satisfies my long-suppressed craving for ranch dressing and I can feel good knowing that the ingredients won't cause a flair-up.

Low FODMAP Ranch Dressing Review
While the texture is a bit creamier than the ranch dressing we're used to, the taste is spot on compared to the real thing!
Live Free Foods fat content is a bit higher than your typical ranch dressing- as with many low FODMAP foods, some ingredients found in the 'high FODMAP' version need to be substituted to eliminate the harmful ingredients without compromising flavor. This shouldn't be an issue for most since ranch is mostly used in small portions as a side, but it is something to be aware of for those watching fat content!
Whenever I get a chance to try new low FODMAP foods I get excited, not only does it help to increase the types of foods that low FODMAPers can eat but it also means that it is that much easier to stick to the diet when you are starting out.
With that being said, I highly recommend that you try Live Free Foods Ranch Dressing as soon as you get a chance!
